Trans Mongolian here we come

Yes we are at the departure lounge waiting our boarding call after a yummy seafood tea Cass Jean & Dave John has been into duty free & we are ready to go Oh no an hour late never mind Onboard a great Whisky didn’t want there tea they offered at 1.30am tried to sleep. Breakie cold tea but good yoghurt & Fruit with a nice bread roll left the rest. .Now at Hong Kong. Yes u,be guessed. Flight is late so morning tea on the go
Having lessons with all this the script as well as the photo perhaps by the end if Cath’s tolerance runs that is I’ll no what to do John says she could have bigger problems if she was to try show him
Flight on Dragonair was great service & meal A Ok

Xian would recommend to all travellers. What a great day guide was great as was the driver We were picked up at 8am & returned for a shower at4pm to be picked up again at 6pm for Tea local Dim Sims tray after tray came out all yummy but we couldn’t finish them all then the show began A Chinese show Great back drops ;dancing & music. To be picked up by our guide at 9.15pm & returned to our hotel

The Terracotta Warriors so very interesting as was all the sights we went to. Lots. & lots of walking
Great lunch in local cafe Duck was. Melt in the mouth as was the garlic pasta. John was caught on video trying to use his chop sticks as that was the only cutlery The locals were most amused
On the train now heading for Beijing
at hotel San Paula met up with Sharon & Jorn and went for great walk around the parks then out to tea . The first time for us was a pot bought to table & plates of food & we simmered the food in the boiling pot ‘
Took a guided tour around Forbidden City & Tiananmen Square all of this took from 8.30. /. 1pm. Then we were taken for a Chinese luncheon. Yummy and we sang happy birthday to Cath the she was presented with a bowl of Lucky Noodles . After that the trip the The Great Wall great walk but John &I were pikers we came down in the chair lift the rest had a toboggan ride down All good
Returned to the hotel about 5pm had drinkers once more Jorn & Sharon sang H.Birthday in Swedish so management bought a tub of yoghurt for her
Went for a long walk to find a suitable cafe but headed back to the one from previous night bottle of wine & yes you have guessed Jorn & Sharon launched into song again
7/5/2014. Up at 5.30 am quick breckee then to the train station to begin our trip Free lunch Bowl of Rice Small plates 1.Celery & Onion 2. Cabbage with 3 small bits of Meat
Tea 5pm /5.30pm Bowl of Rice 2 meat balls (golf ball size) plate of cabbage & a plate of Celery & Onion
3hr stop on Mongolian border passport checks & a change of undercarriage
Then passports again for Mongolian side. No breakfast or lunch but had a great tea at our accommodation in Ulan Bator Cabins great with a log fire to keep us warm
8th snow snow ; with a cold wind but great scenery
Good breakfast & nice long walks
Moved into the City good walks around town very pleasant days Then on the train again to Erkutsk.

Moscow. Great city well worth spending a few days

    Hi guys 🙂 Everything is going well at home. Shadow moped for a few days but is now her frisky self. Pierre won $500,000 on who wants to be a millionaire and decided to leave with the winnings
