It seems the bad weather is following me from El Chalten. I woke up this morning to clouds, wind and rain. This posed a bit of a problem since most of the activities in Bariloche are out door based but who wants to pay good money to go say rafting on such a bad day?
I settled on a boat ride on Lago Nahuel Huapi which also had stops to have a look around Isla Victoria and Arrayanes. I took the public bus out to Puerto Panuelo, where the boat departed from. Rather surprised that I managed to get there with no problems and board the boat before it departed.
It was a pleasant way to spend what was generally a crappy day. The boat was dry, out of the wind and comfortable. With the couple of stops we made well the trees tended to shelter all of us from the wind and rain quite a bit.
It took substantially longer to get back by bus that evening than it did to get out there since the bus tended to stop ever few hundred meters to let people on the bus.
After dinner I was grumbling to myself at the still crappy weather when the moon broke through the clouds leaving a silvery trail across the lake. It was beautiful, I opened the window to my dorm room to snap a photo.
