Well the new site design is well underway.  The base template looks great or at least I think so.  I’m not sure how long the whole process is going to take but I’m excited about the whole process.  I know I’m excited because I keep checking to see what’s changed.  In some ways that’s like watching grass grow but every now and then you see something new.  Like yesterday the little icon in the address bar in the browser appeared.  I do not know if that happened yesterday but that is when I noticed it.

That should be the only thing you notice, for the most part, until the new site design goes ‘live’.  Still, the random image appearing off to one side of the template is new… please ignore that since its in the correct spot for the new template.  Of course if your using IE ignore the above, things are always out of whack on IE.  I will not apologise for that.  Its honestly not my fault.  I do not have the skill to go into the coding of the template and fix all those things that IE has a particular problem with. 

I think my new designer however does have said skill so hopefully it will work even for IE.

Anyway for me on the inside, or more correctly the back end of the site I get to see the new pages as they go up.  I get to click on them and see what they look like with my content on them.  Its kind of cool.  Almost like getting to shake your present before your birthday in an attempt to work out what it is.  You may not know 100 percent what the present is but you can have fun speculating and make some really good guesses.
