So things are moving along quite nicely for the up coming trip to New York.  We booked and paid for are airfares last week so that’s settled.  We even have hotel accommodation booked for the couple of days in Anaheim.  Since we’ve cut Hawaii out of the trip we’re using the ‘nice hotel’ nights in Anaheim since its at the end of the trip.  We get to be big kids running around and playing in Disneyland just before heading home and having to be all adult again.

The accommodation in NYC is all organised since Lil, for those who do not know Lil featured in the Morocco trip and we’ve all kept in contact, is putting us up at her place which is very nice of her.

For those people who keep asking if we’re suddenly going to New York because of the Sex in the City movie.  In a word.  No.  I haven’t seen the movie and have no intentions of doing so.  I didn’t like the TV show when it was on so I do not know what would possess me to go and see the movie let alone visit a city because of it.

Anyway back to the New York plans we’re also planning a little side trip up to Niagara Falls and possibly Montreal and Quebec City for a few days.  Well ok that’s not exactly plans for New York itself.  More like plans for the New York trip.

That’s about it so far.  Except I’m waiting for my new passport to come back.  There was that little incident on the trip to Thailand where Cass accidentally knocked a bottle of beer over and some of it spilt onto my passport.  Of course I did not notice until the next day.  That left the plastic that covers your details and picture peeling off.  That sort of looked a little dodgy so I thought I’d best renew it!
