So it starts again.  I finished work the other day.  Not the permanent type of finish work, just the finished for a space of time type finish.  I have a few days here before I get on a plane and start my journey.  Sitting here this morning, my first morning of ‘freedom’, sipping my coffee it feels like nothing really has changed.  I’m aware that there are things I need to do, like go to the gym, food shopping, washing clothes.  You know.  That stuff that is so much a part of daily life that it is hard to get away from.

Still there is still quite a few things I need to do before I head off and I think it will be a bit of a rush to be honest.  I’ve been a little slack.  There is still one more category I need to set up in the Travel Costs section for miscellaneous type expenses on the site.  I still have to look at my video camera and work out how to use it.  It’s brand new you see and I really haven’t used it since I got it.  Not that it is surprising that I haven’t since I got it for the trip in the first place.  I also have to learn how to use Final Cut Express.  I guess that can be left till I get home if I want still it’s been slack I’ve had plenty of time to get everything done and just didn’t.

I’ve also got some of the more mundane things to do like pull out my backpack, clothing and the ‘stuff’ I’m going to take with me and generally do that packing thing.

There is that little part of me that is jumping around the room in excitement.  I’m finally on holidays!  Even if I haven’t left the country yet.
