I’ve been a little slack of late I admit.  At least when it comes to updating the site.  Still things are moving along quite nicely and this years trip is to Egypt, more about that in the next post.

One slight Admin issue.  In an effort to make things easier for people to comment I disabled the member registration a few years ago.  Not that it made much difference little did I know at the time but the comment system wasn’t working at all until the recent redesign of the site.  However now that it it is working the parasites on the web have started on the comment spam.  I’m a little sick of vetting them all so the member registration system for commenting has been turned back on to at least try to reduce the time spent dealing with the spam.  Still most people tend to send emails, a left over from when the comment system wasn’t working I guess.  Do not get me started on the email spam.
