Wind, Rain, Snow with pockets of clear sky in Ushuaia

We arrived in Ushuaia after a few delays at the airport. We were advised to get to the airport due to the airport and airline dramas. Turns out is was good advise to follow and at least we made it here.

We spent longer at the airport in Buenos Aires than we did on the plane to get here. Since the domestic terminal has been closed all the flights are going from the International Terminal, it insane!

Road trip from Ushuaia, driving in circles to find Tohlin for lunch then to San Palo to see a shipwr

We didn’t exactly rush this morning however we certainly had plans for the day. We’d teamed up with a couple of guys from our dorm, Domink & Robert as well as one of the other girls from the hostel Zeynep to hire a car between us and go see some of the surrounding countryside.

Finally perfect blue sky in time for a day in the Tierro Del Fuego National Park

Given the fact that we’d all been up until he early hours of the morning it amazed me that we were all up and eating an amazing omelet, cooked for us all by Zey by about 0900 hours in the morning.

Wonders of wonders there was blue sky outside in what promised to be a beautiful day.

At first I thought you’re kidding me a whole day looking at ice?  I mean I wanted to see the Glacier, that is why people come here after all but a whole day?

Laguna de los Tres

Well this entry is a little late but what can I say about El Chalten?  The place is incredible with some amazing walks from easy to hard. The views are spectacular and well worth the effort to get there.

You will seriously regret it if you only have one day in this place.

Rather than separate the days and talk on and on about something that words can not describe I thought I would show you.
