We’re struggling.  Apparently.

Ok so she is a kiwi but my hat goes off to her.  She has 8 kids.

Yes you read that right.  Eight kids.

Now I find this truly amazing.  Not only is she intending to travel around the world she intends to take said 8 kids, 1 husband and 1 grandfather with her on the journey.  Can you imagine the sheer willpower you would need to make that dream come true?  Most of us have enough trouble saving and planning for ourselves let alone a hoard!

Now I’ve had a lot of questions about how I save for my trails in the world.  Inevitably they then come with excuses.  Now the ones I can not argue with are the ‘oh but you’re single’, or ‘you do not have/want kids’.

So to all of those, and the rest of you too.  Check out Pilgrims’ Progress

She’s inspirational and I certainly intend to follow her travels, and that of her hoard!

Finally started updating the static pages of the site to reflect the new year.  Ok so its April.  At least I got onto it before December.  Its not that its hard or that it takes all that long.  Take note all perspective RTW travellers who decide it might be great to set up a website to follow your travels.  Once you do that little ‘To Do’ list grows and one never seems to get to the end of it.
